We are seeking additional Scream Team volunteers for this Halloween Season. Seasonal positions are available to terrify those that attend our Haunted Attractions. We are looking to fill the positions of: actors, makeup artists, non-scare positions, ticket takers, parking lot attendants and concessions. On site training will be provided by Scary Acres Staff for all positions. Experience is preferred but not required.

Actor Requirements

These positions require a drive and desire to entertain our guests. The power you have over people looking to be frightened can be extremely exhilarating. Being a Scream Team volunteer is rewarding and fun. We look for individuals who are dependable, motivated, have reliable transportation, and will show up for the times they have scheduled themselves for. Most importantly, we are looking for individuals who show enthusiasm for the acting position they are seeking. It may not be as easy as it sounds. It requires a great deal of dedication, time and energy to be an actor on the Scary Acres Scream Team.

Makeup Artist

Do you have experience with airbrush and or latex makeup application? These positions require speed, creativity and dependability. You will be asked to perform a demonstration or provide a portfolio of your work.

Non-Scare Positions

These positions involve the sales of glow sticks, promotional Scary Acres items and concessions. The ideal candidate should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be familiar with money handling.

Ticket Takers

Responsible for insuring a proper flow of guests into the Attractions, providing guests with proper rules and regulations, collecting of tickets for the Attractions, and placing guests into groups to enter the Attractions. The ideal candidate should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Parking Lots Attendants

Must be able to direct high volume traffic in an organized manner in and out of the facility and direct the parking of vehicles on the lot. Requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
